DILETTA ZIPOLI

Diletta is a singer and a voice teacher in several Florentine schools. From a very young age she approached the study of music and particularly singing by studying the great voices of the present and the past such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Giorgia and Mina. Her guitarist father, singing aunt, and grandfather (who was deaf due to high-noise jobs) contribute emotionally to shaping her vocal profile as a dramatic coloratura mezzo-soprano. She studied singing as a teenager with maestro Fantacci in Prato and then continued in-depth study with maestro Luca Jurman and Chiara Mariantoni at the Vocal Classes Academy in Milan. At the same time she became passionate about teaching, learning more methodologies (EVT, Voice Control, Proel) and applying them in teaching at the various Florentine music schools she collaborates with. Diletta is a singer and chorister in many musical projects, including Back to the 90's Boys with whom she performs throughout Italy. Besides singing she loves cats, chocolate, pasta, books, scientific truths, the sea, trekking in the woods, vocal cords and fashion. In 2017 she joined Vocal Blue Trains as a dramatic soprano.
