GIANNI SARCHI

Gianni graduated in jazz singing from the Conservatory of Rovigo and in 2010 he graduated from the Vocal Power Academy in Brescia with Elisabeth Howard, qualifying to teach the Vocal Power Method.

In 2011 he obtained the first two levels of qualification in the EVTS method, but his multifaceted aptitudes range over different activities such as that of Phoniatric/Logopedic Counseling, with Dr. Daniela Clemente. He also participates in master classes with Franco Fussi, Bob Stoloff, Barry Harris, Matteo Belli, Antonio Juvarra, Marco Brazzo, Jo Estill, A. Pelosi, Mauro Banfi and Gisela Rohmert.

He took voice lessons with Stefania Scarinzi, Ada Montellanico, Loretta Martinez, Mya Fracassini, Rossana Baroncelli, Anna Gotti, Francesca Ajmar and Alessia Obino.

He studied jazz piano with Alessandro Galati and Stefano Calderai, classical piano with Prof. A. Giovannelli and Prof. A. Amato, guitar with Maurizio Ferretti and composition and score reading at the Verdi Municipal School of Prato.

He is currently a teacher of Vocal Technique at SPM (Studio Professione Musica) school in Pistoia and Effemme Studio in Florence and a music subject expert at the Alberto Manzi State Primary School in Montemurlo and the Aldo Capitini State School in Agliana.

Parallel to his studies and teaching, he takes part as a singer and musician in the Muriel and SoloInCasa projects, with which he made four records: Il Movimento Necessario, Neppure Un Volto, Silenzi Non Silenzi and Cosa Decide, produced by Yatomusic, Leipzig Records/Promorama/wide and A Buzz Suprime/TryDog Lab, with collaborations by Paolo Benvegnù, Tommaso Cerasuolo of the band Perturbazione, Lele Battista of La Sintesi and Guglielmo Ridolfo Galliano of Negrita.
