GIULIA PAPALIA

Giulia grew up on the outskirts of Florence graduating from the Agnoletti Scientific High School in 2012.

From a very young age she has been collaborating with different music bands that brought her closer to different musical styles and thanks to them she discovered some of her favorite bands: Arcade Fire and Alt-J.

She studied modern singing with Matteo Bonciani at the Art Music Academy and simultaneously for two years she took piano lessons with maestro Federico Sagona.

This is how she discovered his passion in singing by accompanying himself on keyboards, composing her own pieces and rearranging covers. In 2017 she joined Vocal Blue Trains, a Florentine choir directed by Alessandro Gerini, as a dramatic soprano. It was here that she discovered her true musical dimension and began to search for new musical realities, learning to follow her own natural timbre without trying to modify or alter it. Currently Giulia, in addition to continuing her own artistic path, works in a cosmetic store and because of this she loves to give advice to her friends on skin and hair care. Besides music, her greatest passion is books. For Giulia, in fact, reading represents a way to find comfort in difficult moments, to immerse herself and travel to different worlds, and to discover new stories. Thanks to reading, one can dream and share different points of view with others, even and especially with those who have come across those same words. We are what we read, and this is a significant starting point for her to get to know herself in depth.
