LORENZO MATTEUZZI
Lorenzo approached music in his early years, making it his most great passion.
He began his musical career with the first rock bands as a bassist singer, taking in parallel lessons in classical guitar from Maestro Giovanni Cifariello and later in electric guitar from Maestro Daniele Vettori, in addition to the study of singing from his early teens to the present, with teachers Mauro Nugnes, Iacopo Meille, Gabriele Mori, Yaser Ramadan and Linda Valori.
After years of study he also refines the stage and performer part with a small musical company in addition to the project Shadows on Jupiter (formerly Neglected) that sees him involved as lead guitarist and second vocalist until 2020.
He attends important training courses such as “Estill Voice Training” (EVT) with Alejandro Martinez, ‘Songwriting’ with Mario Fanizzi, “Workshop of arrangement” with Lele Fontana and Francesco Cherubini.
He boasts numerous live experiences in the Florentine and Italian scene.
In 2022 he participated as bassist and backing vocalist in Jamila's national tour “Fragments of tour.” In parallel, he pursues his singer-songwriter project under the stage name Zelo, under the production of Fabrizio Carraresi. In the same year he wins entry into the Finalissima for the Nuove Proposte for Europe at the “Mia Martini Prize,” artistic direction by Franco Fasano, winning the “Giancarlo Bigazzi Special Prize” for best musical composition with the song “Stagioni,” released in 2024 as first single.
In 2023, he started his academic career at the Giovan Battista Martini Conservatory of Bologna in the pop-rock singing address, and in 2024 he began teaching singing and joined Vocal Blue Trains as a tenor.
