NADIA KOSKI

From an early age, music has been at the center of her life. Growing up in a family of musicians, it would be her father, a guitarist and songwriter, who would be a source of great inspiration and example for her. Nadia began studying piano at the age of 8 and at 10 began studying wind instruments (alto saxophone, flute, and clarinet). She studied privately in Connecticut and New York (USA) with Frank Lombardo and Sue Terry on saxophone and various instruments, with Sally Kish for classical piano and Mary Dipaola-Davis for jazz piano. During middle school and high school, she performed in local and regional jazz groups, big bands and choirs, pursuing Jazz Performance studies on alto saxophone at the prestigious New York University (NYU) program in New York City. Nadia's diverse passions and artistic curiosity led her to graduate with honors from NYU in Communication Studies and Jazz Music Performance.

In 2005, Nadia moved from New York to Florence, where she currently works full-time in digital marketing pursuing her many musical projects. She is co-writer and co-producer of "Along for the ride" released in 2016, an album that mixes blues, jazz, prog and rock, with her historic band Alchemy Daze. She has performed in numerous Tuscan music projects, from blues to funk, and has recorded vocals and horns on various albums and singles in the music scene. She is one of the founding members of Vocal Blue Trains, vice-president of the association and a chorister and singer in the contraltos section. Nadia collaborates with Italian and foreign songwriters as a speech coach and lyricist coach in English. She also records voice over for commercials on Internet Radio, FM Radio and television. Nadia also enjoys pilates, concerts, skiing, cooking, traveling and spending time with friends, people she loves and her beloved Jack Russell.
