PIETRO CUPPOLONI

Pietro approaches music by ranging his listening from Italian pop to international rock. He began his adventure as a singer in 2007 when, together with his great friend guitarist Enrico "Endrigo" Franci, he founded his first cover band. In this first experience as a lead vocalist, Pietro had the opportunity to experiment with his vocals and instrumental re-arranging skills, interpreting songs by his favorite artists.

In 2009 he enrolled in the Voice Academy in Florence where, with the guidance of vocal coaches Beppe Di Figlia and Valerio Nardi, he found a way to combine his baritone voice with his great passion for the evocative musical atmospheres of the 1980s. Within this experience he decides to re-propose the most famous songs of Depeche Mode in a very special way with two voices harmonized with each other on entirely self-produced musical bases, supported by guitars or piano played live, and it is finally in 2013 that the project takes the name DeVoXional.

In the same period he collaborated with the Florentine band Aurea Sectio with whom he produced the concept album The Sword Of Ice And Fire participating as chorus and lead vocals. In 2015 he approached the study of Estill Voice Training thanks to teacher Rossana Baroncelli (founder of the "Voce Vera" method). In the same year he became the male voice of the cartoon cover band Space Halberds. Still driven by his passion for the 1980s, but this time in their most rock-like guise, in 2016 he became the frontman of Cyberpun-x, a tribute band dedicated to Billy Idol. In 2017 he began his choral experience as a baritone in Vocal Blue Trains. Among different training experiences, he participates in seminars by Paul Phoenix, Elisabeth Howard, Michele Luppi, Matteo Ratti and Elisa Turlà.
