SANDRO TONCELLI

Always attracted to art and entertainment, he began his steps in music at the age of seven, studying piano and solfeggio in Diego Calvetti's school.

In 2003, he graduated from the International School of Comics while working with the musical company Anànche, with which he brought to the stage shows such as Chicago, Notre Dame De Paris, Sweeney Todd and Back to the Future.

In 2009 he was cast as Benny in the official Italian adaptation of Rent, directed by Fabrizio Checcacci.

The following year he appeared at the Castrocaro Festival, making it to the prefinals stages. In 2011 it was the turn of training stages with Robert Steiner and the Bologna-based company Aspettando Broadway; in the same year he took opera singing lessons with soprano Patrizia Morandini. In 2014 he participated in the launch date of Beppe Dati's musical, Il Mio Gesù (My Jesus), playing the role of Judas. The following year he graduated from the school of Teatro Della Limonaia in Sesto Fiorentino. During these years of theater study he took part in shows such as Notas De Cocina, L'importanza Di Essere Ernesto and Tremori, directed by Dimitri Milopulos.

With the theater company Quint&ssenza he acts in Exodòi directed by Sandro Billeri and, for the first time, in shared direction in Onnivori, loosely based on the film Carnage.

In 2018 he proposed to join the Broadway Shots choral group, while currently performing as a tenor in the Vocal Blue Trains chorus.
